RAM upgrade

The memory has arrived at the office so I'll install it this evening when I get home. The server will go offline about 6pm UK time.

Hopefully only about 10mins. There won't be much improvement on the lag as that is more due to the connection speed (which I am also upgrading in the future). This will help though with then we have multiple worlds.

Server is going offline now for the upgrade. If all goes well it should be back up in 10-15mins.

Cheers Dunc!! I need to address some issues after this too.... important land owner issues.

I will be checking once the server is back online. Hopefully it will help send chunks faster when we have the real slowdowns.

Timing mismatch between the DIMMs apparently. I need to double check what I bought. In other news the RAM upgrade for my gaming rig is working perfectly!

Hey dunc let me know your address so I can send you the 2x1GB sticks of DDR1 I have. I'll see if I can send the ram to you if it's not too costly to ship to you. I'll PM you the product page to the RAM I was talking about.

Well dunc I plan on shipping the RAM out today. It's two sticks of 1GB(2GB total) for the server. Dunc should get the RAM in 6-10 days.
